The Piedmont Sertoma Club is a community service organization under the sponsorship of Sertoma International. Sertoma International is a federation of 950-plus autonomous clubs, represented by about 30,000 plus civic leaders-men and women alike-who are dedicated to volunteerism, and SERvice TO MAnkind. Since April 11, 1912, Sertoma Members have brought forward their talents and joined the collective experiences of thousands to chart a unique course of action for community service. Annually, Sertoma Cubs sponsor thousands of moneymaking projects, raising in excess of $20 million, which is applied to myriad SERvice TO MAnkind sponsorships.
Sponsorships and service projects are the primary mechanism through which Clubs carry out Sertoma's charitable mission of SERvice TO MAnkind in their community. Sertoma has selected the following as its International Sponsorships: Speech and Hearing, Service to Mankind, Youth Programs, Freedom and Democracy and many other special programs like substance abuse, human services and community projects.
The Piedmont Sertoma Club-uses interest earned from the Piedmont Sertoma Enterprise Account to support service projects. Historically the club has made contributions to the following charities:

- Camp Sertoma For The Speech and Hearing Impaired
- Sertoma Hearing Aid recycling Program
